Tattoo Aftercare
Congratulations on your new tattoo!
To ensure optimal healing and longevity of your artwork, please follow these aftercare instructions carefully.

Bandage Removal:
Leave the bandage on for 3 hours.
Wash your hands thoroughly with antibacterial soap before removing the bandage.
Gently remove the bandage, discarding it carefully.
Initial Cleaning:
Wash the tattoo with warm water and a mild, unscented antibacterial soap.
Gently pat the area dry with a clean paper towel. Do not rub.

Wash the tattoo twice daily with warm water and mild, unscented antibacterial soap.
Gently pat dry with a clean paper towel.
Apply a thin layer of A&D or Aquaphor ointment to the tattoo.

Peeling and Scabbing: This is a normal part of the healing process. Do not pick at or scratch the tattoo.
Itching: Itching is common. Avoid scratching; gently pat the area.
Sun Exposure: Avoid direct sunlight on your new tattoo for at least [recommended time, typically 2-4 weeks].

Soaking: Avoid soaking the tattoo in water (e.g., baths, swimming pools, hot tubs) for [recommended time, typically 2-4 weeks].
Swimming: Wait until the tattoo is fully healed before swimming.
Alcohol and Drugs: Excessive alcohol consumption and drug use can impair the healing process.
Tight Clothing: Avoid tight clothing that may irritate the tattoo.
